Things to Do

The area offers many ecological activities including marine tours where whales, dolphins and turtles can be seen, boat tours through mangroves to see crocodiles and migratory birds, sport fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, river rafting, canyoning, horseback riding, hiking, bird watching, golf in Huatulco and exploring the coast on your own to discover your favorite deserted beach. Tours are organized to visit coffee plantations in the nearby mountains. The short drive to the mountains is splendid as it traverses different types of vegetation beginning with dry forest and evolving into luscious jungle.

The beaches of Oaxaca coast are home and nesting grounds to 6 of 7 of the world’s species of sea turtles. The turtles can be seen by boat tours and perhaps at night along a beach laying eggs.

Huatulco

If you are planning to travel to or around Huatulco on your stay, we also have a guest house, Casa Altamar, accommodating up to 10 guests in Huatulco. The house can be adapted for smaller groups.
